Ravathane® Thermoplastic Polyurethane

Ravathane® Thermoplastic Polyurethanes (TPUs) are block copolymers composed of alternating elastomeric soft and rigid hard blocks that are covalently bonded via urethane linkages. Due to the vast number of available starting materials, many different TPU formulations with broad material properties can be produced, ranging from soft rubbery elastomers to very rigid and tough engineering polymers.

Ravasafe® Zero Halogen (ZH) Flame-Retardant (FR) TPU grades are based on halogen-free technologies. Both product families provide excellent material solutions for the wire and cable industry.
